Boots

The 2009 boot search was surprisingly quick. My mom and I happened to walk through JC Penney last weekend, I saw a pair of boots, they had them in my size, they were comfortable, we bought them and voila!



No innocent souls will have to go through the horror of shoe-shopping with me this year.

Anniversary Present

We forgot to take any pictures on our anniversary, but we did go out for a nice dinner and I got a spangly present:



An anniversary band with nine little diamonds which compliments my engagement and wedding rings quite nicely.

More Chuck!

There are more pictures of Chuck in my Flickr. And I need to take some more, actually. Randy brought him downstairs last night - first time out of our bedroom - and his little eyes were so wide. I am worried about letting him roam free. Our basement is a disaster and he could get lost! But keeping him out of the basement is tricky, because of Sophie. Having a fat, blind cat does come with its challenges sometimes.

Anyway, I love this picture of Chuck because he fits perfectly on a standard 8 1/2" x 11" spiral notebook.

Introducing Chuck Woolery! We brought him home today and he is fitting in nicely. After a little exploring of our bedroom, he curled up on Randy's chest and fell asleep. I need to take a picture of him next to something, like a soda can, to show a size comparison.
